The Huntingburg Foundation was originally established in 1977 as a tool to seek funding to preserve the then dilapidated Old Town Hall.  After completing renovations to that facility in 1990, the Foundation expanded its mission under the initiative of the Lilly GIFT program.  Today the Foundation has 20 endowment funds from which it supports charitable organizations across Dubois County.  The Foundation accepts grant applications during the months of January and July of each year with grant awards paid the first week of May and November.
